Experience
For more than three decades, I have worked at the intersection of fundraising, nonprofit leadership and community impact—helping organizations secure resources, strengthen development capacity and support programs serving people across New York.
My experience spans public funding, foundations, corporate support, major events, development planning and the cross-functional work required to turn a funding opportunity into something an organization can actually deliver.

I helped support the growth of Comunilife’s Life is Precious program from two sites to eight, including expansion into cities outside New York City.
The program provides suicide-prevention services to Latina teens at risk of suicide. Its growth was supported by multi-year public funding and major foundation grants, including support from Direct Relief.
Over my 15 years at Comunilife, more than 1,200 young women received academic, art and case-management services through the program.
The largest single government contract I secured was a $22.5 million, ten-year award supporting a 90-unit supportive housing program.
The program provided rent subsidies and services for formerly homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS and young people aging out of foster care.
Hamilton-Madison House is a more than century-old settlement house on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
During my twelve years leading its development department, I helped the organization navigate major moments in New York City history, including the aftermath of September 11, when expanding community needs brought new local and national foundation and corporate support.
I also grew the development staff, managed an annual fundraising dinner in Chinatown serving more than 800 guests and launched a second black-tie fundraising event downtown.
